Welcome to Person2Person
History of Person-to-Person
Each year, Person-to-Person awards scholarships that help bridge the gap between what a student can earn and save and the amount needed to attend college. For each of these students, the opportunity for higher education allows them to realize their potential in a meaningful way and positions them to take advantage of limitless opportunities.

The Harriet T. McCorkle Scholarship Fund, established more than 25 years ago, provides financial assistance for students from low-income households in Stamford, Norwalk, New Canaan and Darien – who are applying to or who are already in college – and need help with book and tuition payments.

Additional scholarship awards are funded by the Lockhart Fund, the Napolitano Family Fund and the ELH Scholarship.

Students are required to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply for financial aid and work study and are interviewed as part of the screening process. Grants are given in both semesters. Budgeting support and help are provided.

The scholarship application process begins in the spring of the year and recipients are notified of their awards during the summer.
