A positive force for change in the local community, OPUS is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women and improving the community.
Established in 1996 to raise awareness of and financial support for Person-to-Person, OPUS has a growing membership of over 200 women who generously volunteer their time and effort to help others in Lower Fairfield County.
Through their efforts, each year thousands of people receive assistance which ranges from food and clothing, to living assistance loans, scholarship grants and camp tuitions.
As a result of their work, over fourteen years OPUS has raised more than $2,000,000.
